Awesome about Eugene. I decided not to run any distance and be just a spectator this time. Can’t wait! I’ve already been thinking up fun signs.

My father-in-law lives in the outer banks, so I’ve been there a few times! I’m excited to have a place to stay (for FREE), and briefly thought about doing the full marathon, but after looking at the course & realizing that there’s no way that my architect & his dad would be able to see me anywhere but the start & finish, I knew that I couldn’t do the whole thing – there’s a lot of places on the full where there wouldn’t even be any spectators at all, and that sounds lonely!
