There is a pool down the street from my house that I am planning on using after my gym membership is up, so I will be able to continue swimming, just not with Alisa anymore! (I joined a gym that is 1.5 blocks from my house, and I go waaaaay more when I can just walk over before or after work, than when I had to drive.)

If it hadn't been a busy street at noon, I probably would've changed in the car, because I tend to not be THAT modest, but once I was actually at the restroom, since I had to pee anyway, I figured I could make it work. :)

My new doctor is also a runner, in addition to being awesome. It's probably a bit far for you, though! :)

That is the first I've seen of it, too, but I really want to do it as well! That sounds like a great race.

That's some serious balance! Full on change without touching a germ. Very nice. I usually just change in the car if I have to do somthing like that. I'm not very modest so I don't really care who sees me. I think other people would probably be more embarrased by it than we would anyways.

Good doctors are hard to find. My lady doctor just left and now I'm back to square one. I have no idea who to go to. I want to find someone who is athletic - preferrably a runner would be nice, but....

Are you still going to be able to maintain your swimming once in a while even if your not renewing your gym membership. Can you get day passes? September is a long time to not swim. I always feel like a beached wale when I take too much time off. I'm glad you got one last lesson in.

Hitting all your workouts is good b/c that establishes the routine, you can ramp up the miles later--which you know is going to happen!

I'll work on some swim workouts for you to practice. I think right now, less is more and continue to work on your technique while slowly increasing your endurance. You don't have any tri's until June so you've got plenty of time! =)
